Many Kansas cities impose tighter date windows (e.g., Salina allows discharge only Jul 3–4) and set specific hours. Fireworks use is prohibited on public roadways, within 50 ft (some jurisdictions 300 ft) of fireworks stands, and at gas stations statewide.
