Pennsylvania legalized consumer fireworks statewide via Act 43 of 2017, amended by Act 74 of 2022. Sale and possession are legal year-round. Municipalities may restrict USE between 10 PM and 10 AM on non-holiday dates but cannot ban consumer fireworks outright. On July 2–4 and Dec 31, use is permitted until 1:00 AM. Check local township/municipal ordinances for specific time restrictions.
